As a part of the project, ‘Youth with Migrant Workers for Advocacy and Accountability’, we were able to contribute a little to support to migrant workers infected with COVID-19 and also poor and marginalized individuals with nutritious food in Punarbas Municipality, Kanchanpur in collaboration with @Sangsangai. Sangaisangai is a female-led youth volunteer campaign in Kanchanpur. YUWA assisted the group through the Community Initiative Fund, a major project activity under the YMWAA project.
Through the project, the group was able to provide for 125 people with nutritious food packages (Rice, Lentils, Grams, Egg etc.) and covid essentials (masks, gloves, thermometer etc.). We extend our gratitude to Sangsangai and the team for coordinating and working efficiently and effectively to reach our targeted beneficiaries. (Original post link)
